Read the names as a compass
Crown sorts its rooms into three outlooks and says so in the name. Bay rooms look across the water on the side Crown calls "the bay". Harbour Bridge rooms face the bridge. Opera rooms face the Opera House, and several of those room pages also list the bridge. If a room name has no landmark in it, assume the bay.
That matters more here than in most hotels, because the window is the reason to stay. A 47-square-metre Deluxe King with the bay outside and a 55-square-metre Opera King with the Opera House outside are different evenings. Decide which one you want before you look at anything else.

Know what every standard room shares
Across the room pages Crown lists the same core: floor-to-ceiling windows, Frette bed linen, Grown Alchemist bathroom products, Crown Towers robes and slippers, a Nespresso machine, a personal bar and fridge, an in-room tablet that runs the blinds, lights and in-room dining, and complimentary internet. In-room dining runs 24 hours. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 11am.
Ask about the construction note
Several room pages, including the Opera King, Opera Studio, Harbour Bridge Twin, Premier Harbour Bridge Suite, Tower Suite and Opera Tower Suite, carry a line from Crown saying construction alongside the hotel may be visible from the window but won't block the city's landmarks. If you're paying for the view, mention it when you request a room and we'll ask for the cleanest outlook available.
Crown notes on its room pages that each room is unique and that its images and floorplans are indicative. Ours are illustrations, not photographs of the hotel.
