Choose the King for two

Crown's Harbour Bridge King page talks about ocean-blue accents and views stretching towards the water, with the bridge framed in the glass. The bathroom is encased in glass and marble, with an egg-shaped bath, rain shower and two vanities, and there is a walk-in closet. It's the room for a couple who want the landmark but don't need a sitting area.

Choose the Twin for a group or a family

Two queen beds face the window and the bridge. Sliding doors open to a bathroom with a freestanding bath that has a television set into the wall, plus a separate walk-in rain shower and dual marble vanities. Crown's page says up to four people. For two friends who don't want to share a bed, or parents with two children, it's the obvious pick at this level.

The Twin page carries Crown's note about construction alongside the hotel being visible from the window. Crown says it won't affect your view of the landmarks.

Think about the time of day

The bridge is lit at night and the harbour traffic keeps moving well into the evening. If you want the bridge in daylight and lights later, a Harbour Bridge room gives you both from bed. For the Opera House instead, look at the Opera rooms; for a bigger room on this side, the Executive Harbour Bridge Suite is 85 square metres.

Both rooms list Grown Alchemist amenities, Crown Towers robes and slippers, Frette linen, a glass-top dining table, Nespresso, a personal bar and fridge, 24-hour room service, an in-room tablet for blinds, lights and dining, and complimentary internet. The bar and room service are charged.
